Founder of Mindful Creative Muse, Cynthia Hauk shares the transformative power of mindfulness, meditation, art, and nature.

With a Master of Fine Arts and certifications in Trauma-Informed Expressive Arts and EcoTherapy, she has empowered individuals globally since 2007 through workshops, retreats, and internationally accredited teacher training programs.

When not teaching, she enjoys vocal improv, making art, cuddling her 19-year-old cat, and savoring Colorado’s natural beauty.

Is this retreat all-inclusive?

Yes! Your stay, all meals, and guided experiences are included.

Do I need to be an artist to attend?

Not at all—Come as you are! This retreat is about self-expression and exploration—no experience needed.

What lodging options are available?

We offer three lodging options to suit your comfort and budget:

  • Shared Single Bed Room or Shared Bunk Bed Room (Same Price. First Come First Serve - a great perk to save your spot ASAP!).

  • Private Single Bed Room (Extremely limited availability, ideal for those who want more personal space). If interested, please email Cynthia at info@mindfulcreativemuse.com for details on how to register.

What should I bring to the retreat?

Pack comfortable clothing, a journal, and any personal items you need to feel at home. We’ll provide a simple list of recommended art supplies, but feel free to bring your favorite materials if you’d like.

All other retreat essentials, including meals and cozy accommodations, are taken care of—just bring yourself and an open heart!

Transportation: What’s the easiest way to get to the retreat center?

Flying into Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is the quickest and easiest option, with Uber, Lyft, and taxis readily available. If arriving at Denver International Airport (DIA), you can take an Uber, Lyft, taxi, or the DIA Shuttle for a smooth ride to Colorado Springs.

Is this Retreat open to all genders?

This retreat is for women (cis and transgender) and non-binary individuals who feel comfortable in a women-centered space due to shared lodging arrangements. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants. Is the retreat accessible if I have mobility concerns?

The retreat venue, dining hall, and main spaces are fairly accessible, but please note that the retreat home is not wheelchair accessible. While buildings are nearby, some walking is required between them, and exploring the labyrinth and trails is optional.

Can I get a refund if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel, you’ll receive a full credit toward a future Mindful Creative Muse Retreat if you cancel at least 30 days before the retreat. If you cancel within a month of the retreat, you’ll receive a 50% credit. 

Will I be able to unplug at the retreat?

Yes! We encourage participants to disconnect and fully immerse in the retreat experience, but Wi-Fi is available if needed. Whether you choose to stay online or take a break from screens, this retreat is designed to give you the space to recharge in the way that feels best for you.
